Millions of Iranians perform memorial before Khamenei's body - video
Millions of Iranians came to Tehran's main mosque for a general prayer before the coffins of the deceased Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei and members of his family.
From early morning, lines of pilgrims in mourning clothes with Iranian flags, portraits of Khamenei, as well as posters with calls to avenge US President Donald Trump stretched to Mosalla of Imam Khomeini - the largest religious complex in Tehran.
Before the coffins, a collective namaz was read, in which prayers were sounded for the repose of the souls of the leader of Iran and his relatives, including his one-year-old granddaughter, at these moments many men and women could not hold back their tears. Iranian state television and radio conducted a report from a helicopter, which was visible to all participants of the ceremony.
