Dawn: Next round of US-Iran talks may take place in Bürgenstock or Islamabad
The next round of technical talks between Iran and the US will likely take place in Pakistan, but their holding in Switzerland is not ruled out.
This is reported by the Pakistani portal Dawn, citing diplomatic sources.
"There are two options for organizing the technical talks - Islamabad and Bürgenstock. At the same time, the capital of Pakistan is the most likely option," one of them said.
Dawn sources emphasize that the meeting plans to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue, easing sanctions against Tehran, unfreezing Iranian assets abroad. There will also be talk of maintaining a stable situation in the Strait of Hormuz and compliance with the ceasefire by Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Earlier, the Al Hadath TV channel claimed that the next talks between representatives of Iran and the US will take place in Pakistan on July 11.
