U.S. military plane delivers Trump's motorcade and presidential helicopter parts to Ankara - photo
In Ankara, active preparations have begun for the 36th NATO summit, which will take place July 7-8.
As part of ensuring the visit of foreign leaders to the Turkish capital, a U.S. military transport plane arrived, delivering armored vehicles from the presidential motorcade, as well as helicopter parts intended for use by U.S. President Donald Trump.
After unloading at the airport, the special transport convoy left for the city. Eyewitnesses spotted the motorcade vehicles at one of Ankara's gas stations, where they stopped briefly before continuing.
Leaders of 32 NATO member countries will take part in the summit. Turkish authorities are strengthening security measures and completing preparations for one of the key international events of the year.
