Media: body of woman suspected in assassination attempt on Yermolayev in Monaco found near Kyiv
On the evening of July 6, the body of a woman shot dead, who was suspected of an assassination attempt on Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolayev in Monaco, was found near Kyiv, reports Ukrainska Pravda citing sources in law enforcement agencies.
According to the publication's sources, the woman was outside Ukraine from March 22, 2025, to July 1, 2026.
Ukrainska Pravda does not name the murdered woman, however the news is illustrated with a photo of Anastasia Berezovskaya, whom Interpol put on the wanted list in the assassination case.
According to a source of Ukrainska Pravda, two suspects have been detained in the murder case: an active officer of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and a former law enforcement officer. Their names are not specified.
