Ukrainian armed forces strike 8 shadow fleet tankers in Azov Sea overnight - VIDEO
The unmanned systems forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck 8 fuel tankers under international sanctions on the night of July 7 – these are vessels of Russia's so-called shadow fleet.
This was stated by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi (Magyar), who also published a video of the "hunt."
"Eight tankers of the Russian shadow fleet were detected and disabled in one night by pilots of 'Kairos' of the 414th brigade 'Magyar's Birds'. The battle for gasoline for Crimea in the Azov Sea continues," the military official emphasized.
According to him, as a result of the attack, in addition to the eight tankers, a dry cargo ship and a ferry were also hit.
Magyar noted that the vessels are significantly damaged, with fires recorded.
All tankers have been identified – they are under international sanctions, their deadweight is 7,000 tons each, length is 140 meters, the vessels were built in 2006–2012. These are "Venus-3", "Sanar-1", "Sanar-17", "Klimena", "Teti", "Alexey Savrasov", "Penelope".
