Trump on Greenland: This is a serious problem for the US, and NATO 'left us alone'

The Greenland issue poses a serious problem for the United States, US President Donald Trump said.

Speaking at the NATO summit in Ankara, Trump noted that when the US turned to allies in the Alliance for support, they received "no" in response, and the allies left the States without support: "On the issue of Greenland, we were left alone."

Nevertheless, Trump emphasized, he is glad to be in Ankara.

The White House chief also added that a "big meeting" will take place soon, at which all issues will be discussed in detail, without however disclosing the venue and format of the negotiations.
