Jeyhun Bayramov addressed Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad
Our citizens, when traveling abroad, must definitely take risk factors into account.
As 1news.az reports, this was stated by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference.
According to the minister, in recent years numerous military conflicts and security risks have been observed in regions close to Azerbaijan's geographical location.
"We are witnessing numerous military conflicts, armed clashes and wars in neighboring countries and in a wider geographical space. Such events pose serious threats to the lives of citizens of these countries and people living there. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our diplomatic missions constantly monitor these processes. We promptly inform our citizens about destinations where such risks exist. Taking the opportunity, I once again urge our citizens to take security risks into account when planning trips abroad and, if possible, to stay away from dangerous regions. In case of being in such territories, they should first of all follow the warnings and recommendations of the official bodies of the country of stay," the minister said.
