"The firearm will be safely transported and sent for storage," Gill noted. "I can tell you that the European Commission president thanked President Erdogan for this gift. After it is deactivated, Commission President von der Leyen intends to transfer it to a museum."

Earlier, the European publication Politico reported that Erdogan presented all guests of the NATO summit with gift revolvers with engraving and six live cartridges in an expensive gift case.
