Number of earthquake victims in Venezuela exceeds 3.8 thousand people

The number of those killed as a result of the destructive earthquake in Venezuela has reached 3,811.

This was reported on the air of the Venezolana de Televisión channel by the chairman of the National Assembly (parliament) of the Bolivarian Republic Jorge Rodriguez.

He informed that 16,740 people were injured, 17,907 lost their homes. 190 buildings were completely destroyed, 856 received significant damage. During search and rescue operations, 6,462 people were rescued, 27,398 people received treatment in hospitals and medical institutions. Assistance was provided to 86,794 families, and 9,603 tons of food were transferred to the victims.
