Vladimir Zelensky announces cabinet update and resignation of prime minister Svyrydenko
Ukraine is transitioning to an updated political strategy that will affect both the external and internal directions of the state's activities.
According to Vladimir Zelensky, from now on a specific experienced official capable of effectively implementing the agreements reached at the highest level will be responsible for each priority foreign policy vector. To ensure these processes, a series of personnel changes will begin in the country.
Based on the results of meetings and consultations with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, the leadership concluded the need for a complete reset of the Cabinet of Ministers. Zelensky expressed gratitude to Svyrydenko for her stable and effective work as head of government and reported that he had offered her to head a new significant direction for interaction with a key international partner. It is expected that the package of personnel dismissals and appointments will be submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada in the near future. At the same time, the president announced rotations in the leadership of law enforcement agencies, but details of the upcoming appointments are not yet disclosed.
