Operation to detain those involved with FETÖ covers all of Turkey

The Ministries of Justice and Interior of Turkey have launched a joint operation to detain 968 suspects linked to the terrorist organization "Parallel State" (FETÖ).

The operation covered each of Turkey's 81 provinces.

The largest number of detentions is expected to be carried out in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir.

Turkish Justice Minister Akın Gürlek emphasized the determination to fight against supporters of the criminal structure that organized the attempt to violently overthrow the government in the country on July 15, 2016.

«Ten years later, the fight against terrorists continues with the same determination,» the minister assured.
