European Union imposes sanctions against VK
The European Union has added the Russian company VK, which owns the social networks VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and several other domestic digital services, to the sanctions list.
This is stated in the decision of the EU Council, published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
As justification for the imposition of sanctions, the EU Council indicated that VK is the parent company of LLC Communication Platform, which acted as the developer of the national messenger Max.
