US completes another series of strikes on Iran - video
American troops have completed strikes on Iranian territory.
This was reported by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) on the social network X.
"Central Command has completed another round of strikes on Iran. During the eighth consecutive night of strikes, CENTCOM forces hit Iranian coastal surveillance facilities and air defense facilities, naval assets, missile and drone warehouses," the post says.
The command noted that strikes were also carried out against "Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that attacked American servicemen in Jordan on July 17."
On the night of July 19, the US Central Command announced the start of another series of strikes on Iran. The military indicated that this was a response including to attacks on American troops in Jordan.
The day before, Tehran announced that it had suspended the implementation of obligations under the memorandum of understanding with Washington. On the same evening, the US Central Command reported the death of two of its troops in Jordan during an Iranian strike.
