IDF prepares for large-scale operation on the West Bank of the Jordan River
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that it is preparing to conduct a large-scale counterterrorism operation on the West Bank of the Jordan River due to the increase in attacks on civilians in the area.
"In connection with the terrorist attack that occurred today (Friday) in the Tell area, IDF soldiers are preparing for large-scale counterterrorism operations in this area," the press service said.
It is noted that over the past week, Israeli military detained more than 80 wanted individuals on the West Bank, suspected of inciting terrorism.
On Friday, a terrorist attack using firearms occurred on the West Bank, resulting in one person killed and two others seriously injured and taken to the hospital. On Thursday, two terrorist attacks were also committed on the West Bank.
