Citizens of 17 countries can enter Azerbaijan without a visa
Azerbaijan maintains a visa-free travel regime with 17 countries.
Citizens of 89 countries can enter the country by obtaining an electronic visa through the "ASAN Viza" system, while citizens of 11 countries receive visas directly at state border checkpoints.
As 1news.az reports, this was stated by the head of the State Migration Service (SMS) Vusal Huseynov during his speech at a media tour dedicated to the topic "Media awareness in the field of migration."
He noted that foreigners and stateless persons arriving in Azerbaijan must register at their place of stay if their stay in the country exceeds 15 days.
According to the head of the SMS, this registration is one of the requirements of the legislation and must be carried out within the established deadlines.
