AZAL launches regular flights to Kars

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has successfully completed its first flight to the Turkish city of Kars.

As reported by 1news.az, this was announced by the press service of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.

Passengers on the first flight to Kars were ceremoniously welcomed at Kars Harakani Airport. Flights on the new route will operate twice a week — on Thursdays and Sundays. The opening of this route will further expand air links between Azerbaijan and Turkey, increase travel opportunities for passengers, and contribute to the development of tourism, business, and cultural ties.

Note that Turkey remains the largest market for Azerbaijan Airlines. The airline currently operates regular flights to Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Bodrum, Trabzon, Dalaman, Adana, and Kars.
