In Khojavend, humanitarian operation participant steps on mine

In Khojavend district, an employee of a private company participating in humanitarian demining operations was injured in an ammunition explosion.

This was reported by the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA).

According to the information, on August 2, Ahad Ahadov (born in 1985), while performing his official duties in the territory liberated from occupation, stepped on an antipersonnel mine. As a result of the incident, he received bodily injuries of varying degrees of severity.

The victim was evacuated to the Khojavend district central hospital. According to ANAMA, his condition is satisfactory.
