OSCE chairman: Visit to Azerbaijan will be the beginning of broader contacts - PHOTO
Member of the Swiss Federal Council, head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ignazio Cassis is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
As 1news.az reports, he wrote about this on his page on the social network X.
"Happy to undertake my first official visit to Azerbaijan. Switzerland highly values its partnership with Azerbaijan," Cassis noted.
According to him, as the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, he intends to promote the development of dialogue, peace, stability and prosperity in the South Caucasus, as well as the deepening of cooperation in the spheres of trade, innovation and the economy.
"This visit will be the beginning of broader regional contacts," Cassis emphasized.
