Legendary actor Jackie Chan is in Baku, where filming of individual scenes for the international adventure film "Armour of God 4: Ultimatum" is beginning.

According to Report, citing the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Baku, the world-famous actor will spend about ten days in the capital of Azerbaijan.

The main filming location for the movie is Kazakhstan. Filming has already taken place in the Mangystau and Almaty regions, as well as in Almaty. Azerbaijan was chosen as the second country for filming at the suggestion of the Kazakh side. The film is being produced by the Kazakh film company Salem Entertainment. The project's producer is the company's founder, Rustem Omarov, and the director is Kazakh filmmaker and stuntman Robert Kun, whose candidacy was personally approved by Jackie Chan. The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan is providing assistance with the filming in Baku.

Some of the city's most recognizable landmarks have been chosen for the filming in Baku. Icherisheher, Highland Park, the Baku Funicular, the Green Theater, and Fountain Square will appear on screen.

The project is being implemented with the participation of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and has become one of the largest international film projects of recent years created in Central Asia and the South Caucasus. The participation of the two countries in the filming reflects the expansion of regional cooperation in the film industry and opens up additional opportunities for promoting their cultural and tourism potential on the world stage.

"Armour of God 4: Ultimatum" will be a continuation of the famous franchise, in which Jackie Chan, after 13 years, will once again play the role of the legendary adventurer nicknamed the "Asian Hawk." The film's premiere is scheduled for 2027.
