Five rounds of dominance: Islam Makhachev retains his UFC championship belt

Russian fighter Islam Makhachev successfully defended his UFC welterweight title.

In the main event of the UFC 330 tournament in Philadelphia (USA), the Russian athlete faced Irishman Ian Garry. The bout went the full five rounds, after which the judges unanimously awarded the victory to the reigning champion.

This win was the 29th of Makhachev's professional career. Earlier, at UFC 322, he claimed the belt in a fight against Australian Jack Della Maddalena. For Ian Garry, in turn, this defeat was his second alongside 17 wins in MMA.
