Volume of oil transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline disclosed

In January-July, the volume of oil transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Main Export Pipeline decreased by 8.6% to 14 million 773.2 thousand tons.

As reported to AZERTAC by the State Statistical Committee, 76.8% of the transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Oil Pipeline.

During this period, 82.3% of the oil pumped through the BTC pipeline (12 million 154.7 thousand tons) was oil produced in Azerbaijan, while 17.7% (2 million 618.5 thousand tons) was oil received from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
