Agreement on the development of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan approved
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree approving the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on the Main Directions for the Development and Deepening of Economic Cooperation."

According to the document, adopted in accordance with paragraph 17 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the intergovernmental agreement signed on June 22, 2026, in Baku is approved.
After the document enters into force, ensuring the implementation of its provisions is entrusted to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has been instructed to send the government of Turkmenistan a notification on the completion of all domestic procedures necessary for the agreement to enter into force.
