Pezeshkian: The tactic of pressure on Iran has not worked

The pressure campaign by Iran's enemies has produced no results and has only united the country's population, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday.

"Our enemies believed that their actions, their pressure would lead to the collapse of Iran. However, this did not happen, and the whole world was shaken by the strength and unity of the Iranian people," the Mehr agency quoted him as saying.

According to the president, during the confrontation with the United States and Israel "our people simply performed a miracle."
Pezeshkian assured that he would work diligently to resolve the economic problems facing the population.

"Of course, we are ashamed because of the existing problems. But as long as we are alive, we will work to make people's lives better, to increase their well-being. Our goal is to get through the current crisis situations with dignity," the president noted.
