Ilham Aliyev noted the special role of the president of Uzbekistan in attracting investments to Karabakh
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev noted the special role of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in attracting investments to Karabakh.
As 1news.az reports, Ilham Aliyev said this during a joint statement to the press with Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
"Once again, I would like to note the special role of President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev in attracting investments to Karabakh. The first assistance was provided by Uzbekistan: the construction of a school for 960 students, investments in garment production — the first large industrial enterprise — is again connected with Uzbekistan, as well as further plans for cooperation both in the Karabakh region and in many other regions," the head of state said.
According to the Azerbaijani leader, it is noteworthy that among the projects whose opening or foundation-laying took place today, there were initiatives being implemented not only in Baku and Tashkent, but also in other regions.
"The interregional cooperation forum held yesterday is also of enormous practical interest. This means that we are joining efforts, we are creating synergy, as they like to say now. We have a clear plan of actions in order to move forward, and every project is filled with specifics," Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
