Mirziyoyev proposes creating an Uzbek-Azerbaijani transport corridor
Uzbekistan is interested in creating a separate Uzbek-Azerbaijani transport corridor with a single operator on the Caspian Sea.
As 1news.az reports, this was stated by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 3rd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Interstate Council.
"Serious tasks lie ahead for our transport ministers. As part of the development of the Middle Corridor, it is necessary to accelerate the launch of a joint fleet on the Caspian Sea. We also discussed this in a narrow format with Ilham Heydarovich. We need to speed up this process.
We are also interested in creating a separate Uzbek-Azerbaijani corridor with a single operator on the Caspian Sea," Mirziyoyev said.
