The bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan today are based on a very solid foundation — both spiritual and material.

As AZERTAC reports, this was stated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in a press statement with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Emphasizing that this synthesis is not encountered very often in world politics, the head of state noted that the aspiration of the governments of both countries toward development, creating better living conditions, and joining efforts is the most important factor in ensuring that we will achieve success.
