President Ilham Aliyev invited his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay a state visit to Azerbaijan.

As AZERTAC reports, this was said by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in a statement to the press with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

“I would like to invite you, Shavkat Miromonovich, to visit Azerbaijan on a state visit at a time convenient for you,” the head of the Azerbaijani state noted.

He expressed confidence that both sides will work together to bring our countries and peoples even closer.
