Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev shared a post from Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
As 1news.az reports, Hajiyev published the relevant post on his account on the social network "X".
"A path of science stretching from Karabakh to Bukhara… The outstanding 17th-century philosopher and scholar Yusif Garabaghi, having left Karabakh, worked in Samarkand and Bukhara, leaving a significant mark on the scientific and cultural life of Central Asia. In 1619, the ruler of Bukhara, Bahadur Khan, built a library in his honor and appointed Yusif Garabaghi as its head. Today, the grave of Yusif Garabaghi is located in Bukhara. From Karabakh to Bukhara — a bridge of science, culture and friendship that spans centuries," the post notes.
