Ukraine's president thanks his Azerbaijani counterpart

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev for his congratulations on the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

Zelenskyy made the corresponding post on his page on the social network X.

"Azerbaijan's position on Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity has always been firm and therefore has always been highly valued. Together we continue to develop our time-tested economic cooperation, open new horizons in the fields of energy and security, and extend a helping hand to each other when necessary. I am convinced that the friendship, mutual respect, and strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan will continue to strengthen," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
