34 years have passed since the tragedy in Ballygaya

Thirty-four years have passed since the massacre carried out by the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia against the peaceful Azerbaijani population in the village of Ballygaya in the Goranboy district of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As a result of the genocide committed on August 28, 1992, in Ballygaya, 24 peaceful Azerbaijanis were brutally killed, among them a 93-year-old woman, as well as six young children, including a six-month-old infant. The bodies of some of those killed, most of whom were children, women, and the elderly, were burned. As a result of the genocide, 3 young children lost both of their parents.

The genocide in Ballygaya is one of the acts of mass extermination committed by the Armenian armed forces with the aim of destroying the Azerbaijani population of the Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as was also the case in the village of Garadaghly in the Khojavend district, in the city of Khojaly, in the village of Aghdaban in the Kalbajar district, and other war crimes.

May Allah have mercy on our martyrs!
