Robbery suspect detained in Baku

In Baku's Nizami district, an unidentified person beat a Baku resident and took 960 manats in cash from him, as well as a bag containing a mobile phone worth 250 manats and 2 bank cards.

As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on Gara Garayev Avenue.

As a result of operational search measures carried out by officers of the 25th Police Station of the Nizami District Police Department, the suspect in the robbery was identified and detained — 37-year-old Elvin Farajov, previously convicted of various crimes.

Investigative measures into the incident are ongoing.
