Hydrometeorological Service releases actual weather in Azerbaijan for the morning of August 30
As of 10:00 on August 30, most regions of Azerbaijan remained free of precipitation.
According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, in the evening and at night, showers with thunderstorms occurred in some mountainous and foothill areas. In Agstafa, 7 mm of precipitation fell, while in Dashkesan, Ganja, Tovuz, Shamkir, Jeyranchol, Zagatala, and Goychay — up to 1 mm.
The northwesterly wind intensified to 17 m/s in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, to 16 m/s in Naftalan, Terter, and Nakhchivan, and to 20 m/s in Julfa and Neftchala.
The maximum air temperature reached up to 31 degrees above zero in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, up to 36 degrees above zero in the lowland regions, up to 35 degrees above zero in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and up to 26 degrees above zero in the mountainous areas.
