Xi and el-Sisi discuss investments and regional crises

During a meeting in Cairo, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi discussed the further development of bilateral cooperation.

The parties agreed to expand Chinese investments in Egypt and to launch the third stage of development of the China-Egypt industrial zone in the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

The leaders of the two countries paid special attention to the regional situation. They spoke in favor of reducing tensions and resolving crises diplomatically.
