Baku to host 4th UNFCCC Climate Week

On September 7-11, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan will organize the 4th Climate Week (CW4) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Baku.

As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the press service of the foreign policy agency.

"Baku is becoming an important platform for the global climate agenda," the post on the Foreign Ministry's page on the social network X says.

Baku Climate Action Week 2026 (BCAW 2026) will be held on the same dates. The events will be dedicated to the practical implementation of climate solutions, international cooperation, and the strengthening of climate action ahead of COP31.
