Qarabag has officially announced the transfer of Mateusz Kochalski to Poland's Wieczysta.

As 1news.az reports, citing the Aghdam club, the decision on the transfer was made taking into account the offer from the Polish side and the player's own wish.

Negotiations between the clubs were successfully completed, and the parties reached an agreement on the transfer of the 26-year-old goalkeeper.

Earlier, the Polish outlet Weszło reported that Wieczysta would pay Qarabag about 500,000 euros (988,250 manats) for Kochalski.

Kochalski had played for Qarabag since the summer of 2024 and made 76 appearances for the team.

In the 2024/25 season, the Polish goalkeeper became champion of Azerbaijan. Together with Qarabag, he also reached the playoff matches for a place in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Kochalski made 40 saves in the tournament and was among the TOP 3 by this indicator.

Qarabag thanked the player for his professionalism and contribution to the team's successes and wished him luck in his future career.
