A light aircraft crashed in Tatarstan, killing the pilot and a passenger

A Cessna-172 light aircraft crashed into the vegetable garden of a private residential house in Tatarstan (Russia); the pilot and a passenger were killed.

As 1news.az reports with reference to TASS, this was announced by the republic's Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"As a result of the plane crash in the Sabinsky district, two people were killed — the pilot and a passenger," the statement said.

Specialists are determining the cause of the incident.
