Ilham Aliyev has decided to transfer his prize of 500 thousand dollars to the Karabakh Revival Fund

On September 14, the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, Mohammed Abdelsalam, during a meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, presented the head of our state with the certificate of the “Zayed Award for Human Fraternity.”

This was reported by the Press Service of the head of state.

It should be noted that President Ilham Aliyev was awarded this prize for 2026 for his efforts to achieve peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Under the terms of the award, the President of Azerbaijan is granted funds in the amount of 500 thousand U.S. dollars.

President Ilham Aliyev has decided to transfer this entire sum to the Karabakh Revival Fund.
