Ukraine and Azerbaijan discussed the development of the Middle Corridor

Ukraine and Azerbaijan have significant potential to strengthen transport and logistics cooperation, and the development of new routes between the Black and Caspian seas will help strengthen ties between Europe and Central Asia.

This was announced by Ukraine's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husiev following a meeting with Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev.

"We discussed promising areas of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the fields of transport, digital transformation and the development of modern infrastructure. Special attention was paid to expanding the capabilities of the Middle Corridor," the ambassador said in a message on social media.

Husiev noted that digitalization and transport infrastructure today are not only matters of economic development, but are also important for resilience, security and the creation of new strategic opportunities for the two countries.

The ambassador thanked Minister Rashad Nabiyev and Azerbaijan for their solidarity, assistance and support for Ukraine, as well as for cooperation aimed at deepening the strategic partnership.

"There is a lot of joint work and new opportunities ahead," the diplomat emphasized.
