Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia to meet in New York

Azerbaijan's and Armenia's foreign ministers, Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan, will meet in New York this month, the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

"The meeting will take place within the framework of the session of the UN General Assembly," Mirzoyan said, without specifying the agenda of the meeting.

The 81st session of the UN General Assembly opened in New York on September 8.

The last meeting of the two countries' foreign ministers took place in early September in Bishkek — within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
