Pashazade: Azerbaijan's victory became a common victory of Muslims
Azerbaijan's victory is a victory of the entire Islamic world, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade said at the Aghdam Juma Mosque.
According to Report, speaking at an event held as part of an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to Seyid Yahya Bakuvi, Pashazade noted that there are many mosques in Karabakh, but the Aghdam Juma Mosque is a "mosque of martyrs."
He recalled that during the First Karabakh War, farewell ceremonies for the fallen were held in the mosque. "How many mothers shed tears within the walls of the Aghdam Juma Mosque. Those were very difficult times," Pashazade said.
The head of the CMO also stated that during the First Karabakh War and the Armenian occupation, when the Aghdam Juma Mosque and other mosques of Karabakh were being desecrated, Muslims did not provide support.
According to Pashazade, Karabakh is currently being restored, religious sites are being renovated, and new mosques are being built.
He also reported that on the previous day, at a meeting with the head of state, a decision was made to hold the continuation of the conference dedicated to Sheikh Seyid Yahya Bakuvi Shirvani at the Aghdam Juma Mosque.
"I believe that the victory of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the victory of Azerbaijan, is a victory of the Islamic world," the head of the CMO concluded.
