Provocation against Azerbaijan prevented in Poland

Immediately after representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Poland spread information on social media about the sale on the local market of Polish-made printed products bearing the symbols of the already liquidated separatist regime, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Poland took measures to halt the production of these products and withdraw them from sale.

As the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Poland told AZERTAC, contact was established with Cezary Popiel, director of the company Henry, which was engaged in the production and sale of the "products," and Azerbaijan's strong protest on the matter was expressed. The other side stated that it had learned about the situation through social media, apologized for the mistake made, emphasizing that a decision had been taken to stop the production and sale of the products in question.

At the embassy's suggestion, Cezary Popiel also informed the diplomatic mission in writing. The letter states that the use of the "image" in the printed materials was not deliberate or intentional, but occurred as a result of the "human factor" at the pre-press stage. The letter also says that the sale of the printed products has been completely halted, that all copies available in the warehouse, as well as copies returned by customers, will be withdrawn from circulation and destroyed, and that appropriate changes have been made to prevent the use of the "image" in printed materials in the future. In his letter to the embassy, Cezary Popiel emphasized that he respects the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Poland expressed its gratitude to the representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora who discovered the aforementioned provocation, drew the attention of the public in both countries to the problem on social media, and sent appeals to the relevant addresses.
