The U.S. president also stated that Russia has lost control over its diesel industry as a result of the ongoing hostilities and strikes on energy infrastructure facilities.
According to the American leader, a significant number of Russian oil refineries that produced diesel fuel have been put out of operation and are currently not functioning.
Trump once again called for an immediate end to the war between Russia and Ukraine, emphasizing the scale of human losses. By his estimate, about 25,000 people are killed every month during the conflict, the overwhelming majority of whom are military personnel.
Earlier, Trump had already urged Zelensky to stop strikes on Russian oil refining enterprises, claiming that disruptions in Russian diesel supplies affect the global fuel market.
