Administrative protocol drawn up against Araz Supermarket chain for deceiving customers
An administrative offense protocol has been drawn up against the Araz Supermarket chain after the sale of products at a price higher than the one indicated was uncovered.
As reported by the State Agency for Antimonopoly Control and Consumer Market Supervision, the violation was discovered during an inspection of the store.
The inspection was carried out by employees of the Agency's consumer rights protection units.
It was established that one of the food products was sold to a customer at a price higher than the one indicated on it.
Thereby, Araz Supermarket violated the requirements of paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the law "On the Protection of Consumer Rights."
Signs of an offense stipulated by Article 447.0.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses — deceiving consumers on a minor scale when settling payment for goods — were identified in the company's actions.
Following the inspection, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the company.
