Prospects for Azerbaijani-Swiss relations discussed

Within the framework of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with a member of the Federal Council of the Swiss Confederation, head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis.

This was stated in a post by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social network X.

It is reported that the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Azerbaijani-Swiss relations, emphasizing the importance of continuing regular political dialogue and further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, views were also exchanged on issues of cooperation within the framework of the OSCE.

The parties noted the importance of maintaining sustainable mutual contacts and constructive international cooperation.
