Azerbaijani citizen gang-raped in Pakistan
In Pakistan, a 20-year-old citizen of Azerbaijan filed a complaint with the police stating that three unknown men had sexually assaulted her after taking her to an unknown location under the pretext of giving her a ride.
According to the police report, the complainant, named Diana, a resident of Baku, arrived in Pakistan 15–20 days ago for business purposes.
She told the police that on September 25 two unknown women approached her and invited her to dinner at an unknown café, where three unknown men were present. According to her, the men later suggested going for a drive and took her to an unknown apartment.
The woman stated that the men slipped her a sedative, after which all three men gang-raped her.
According to the text of the complaint, on September 26 the suspects dropped her off near the airport and then fled. She also stated that the attackers took her expensive mobile phones.
A representative of the Lahore police said that the identities of the suspects have been established and that they will be detained soon. The car allegedly used to abduct the woman was found at the home of a relative of the main suspect. The police noted that further procedural actions are currently being carried out.
