Armenian citizen detained in Tbilisi on suspicion of damaging bust of Heydar Aliyev
An Armenian citizen has been detained in Tbilisi on suspicion of damaging a bust of Heydar Aliyev, Georgian media report.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on the morning of September 21.
Georgia's Interior Ministry reported that one foreign citizen has already been detained in connection with the incident. He is charged with vandalism. An investigation is being conducted into the case under part one of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
