Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan discusses bilateral relations with the ambassador of Lithuania
Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan — Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev met with Lithuania's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kęstutis Vaškelevičius.

The meeting discussed security issues in the region, prospects for strengthening bilateral relations between Lithuania and Azerbaijan, as well as the development of EU–Azerbaijan relations during Lithuania's presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The ambassador noted that amid the changing geopolitical and security situation, it is important that countries that know the value of freedom exchange views even more actively, understand and support each other.
