Baku municipal services eliminate consequences of heavy rains
In order to eliminate the consequences of heavy rains in Baku and to bring the sanitary and hygienic condition of the city to a proper level, on March 30, the Executive Authority of the City of Baku conducted a large-scale citywide cleanup.
As reported by 1news.az, this information was disseminated by the Executive Authority of the City of Baku.
It was noted that from the early morning hours, municipal service equipment of the Executive Authority, using cleaning agents harmless to plants and animals, carried out the washing of main streets and avenues:
"During the works, intra-block and inter-block roads were also washed. In addition, the washing of avenues and streets, sidewalk edges, curbs, lighting poles, railings, benches in parks and recreational areas was carried out; cleaning works were conducted in courtyards and residential areas. The storefronts of catering facilities, trade, and other establishments were cleaned, and order was restored around them."
At the same time, employees of the Baku City Greening Association cleaned dust from trees and green spaces along roads and avenues, carried out agrotechnical care, and pruned damaged branches. Additionally, colorful flowers were planted, and various floral compositions were created, which will delight the residents and guests of the capital.
Overall, large-scale improvement works covering all districts of the capital contributed to the complete elimination of the consequences of the downpours. This allowed the city to welcome the new working week after the holiday weekend in a clean state and contributed to the further improvement of Baku's sanitary condition.
All necessary measures to maintain cleanliness in the capital at the proper level and to protect green spaces will continue throughout the year.
