Speaker of the Armenian parliament ready to travel to Baku and has invited Azerbaijani counterpart to Yerevan

The Speaker of the Armenian parliament, Alen Simonyan, is ready to travel to Baku. He stated this during a conversation with journalists.

According to him, he is prepared to visit Azerbaijan on a suitable occasion if an invitation is extended, and he expects a similar approach from his Azerbaijani counterpart, Sahiba Gafarova.

"I invite my colleague to visit Yerevan," Simonyan stated.

According to him, the criterion for peace is the fact that "children do not die," and the sides refrain from aggressive political statements.
