Azerbaijan transferred the chairmanship to Mexico in the UN World Forum of Cities
The chairmanship of the next United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF) has been transferred from Azerbaijan to Mexico.
As 1news.az reports, the transfer of the chairmanship from Azerbaijan to Mexico took place today in Baku as part of the official closing ceremony of WUF13.
Thus, the 14th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF14) will be held in 2028 in the capital of Mexico — Mexico City.
It should be noted that today in Baku the final day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), organized jointly by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and the government of Azerbaijan, has concluded.
